He is trained to use hands on treatments (such as massage, mobilising and manipulation techniques) as well as specific taping and dry needling techniques to encourage the body's own healing mechanisms.

He will always identify an appropriate exercise rehabilitation or strength and conditioning programme that will suit your current lifestyle and goals.

A little about Brian..

Brian is a keen recreational runner, and has a sporting background in GAA, athletics         and boxing. He has enjoyed competing for Ireland in World and European Age Group triathlon events.

Having suffered his own sporting set-backs due to injuries, he can easily empathise with patients that have been sidelined because of pain or an unexplained drop in performance. he has worked with sportspeople ranging from the recreational to olympians and elite/ international athletes participating in GAA, rugby, swimming, cycling, athletics, weightlifting, adventure racing and hill walking.

Brian always employs a biomechanical and neuromuscular approach to treatment using clinical reasoning and the most current evidence based research to identify a specific diagnosis and prescribe individualised treatment and therapeutic exercise to each of his patients.

"My philosophy is to do everything I can to return all of my patients (sporting and non-sporting enthusiasts) to their maximum potential quickly and safely and empower them with both knowledge and self treatment programs tailored to meet their specific needs which will help to reduce their recovery periods and also minimise the risk of a re-injury occurring".
